Inquire, Visit, Apply!
Thank you for your interest in Immaculate Conception School! The unique talents and gifts each child brings to ICS make for a well-rounded class of students. We’re excited at the prospect of having your child join the ICS family and wish to make the admissions process as smooth as possible. We are now processing applications remotely while schools are closed due to the COVID-19 situation. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact the ICS Admissions Office by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Use the checklists below to help guide you through the admissions process.
Pre-K and Kindergarten Admissions
The Preschool Program at ICS is rated as a Level 5 Star Maryland Excels Program by the Maryland State Department of Education. As an Archdiocese of Baltimore Catholic school, we are very proud to be recognized by the MSDE with a Level 5 Star Rating distinction three consecutive years.
Please note that all Pre-K students must be potty-trained prior to the first day of school.
Preschool and kindergarten applications can be processed on a fully remote basis at this time via the following steps:
Complete and submit the ICS online application.
Submit a copy of the following by email, U.S. mail, or online through your School Admin Parent Portal (the portal is established once you submit the application):
- Birth certificate
- Baptismal certificate (if applicable)
- Any individualized education plans such as an IEP or 504, etc. (if applicable)
Kindergarten applicants only: We are currently processing kindergarten applications remotely. Applicants typically make a personal appointment for a brief readiness screening once application documents have been submitted. For current applicants, the screening requirement will be waived at this time and accepted students will be asked to come in for this in late summer to provide our faculty with a full picture of each new student’s academic profile. All kindergarten students must be five years old by September 1, per Maryland State law.
Kindergarten applicants only: Please ask your child’s current preschool teacher to submit this Teacher Recommendation Form. It can be completed electronically, saved, and emailed to email@example.com.

Students currently in grades 3 through 7 are typically invited to schedule a shadow date with the Admissions Office and be an “Eagle for the Day”. Though we cannot offer a shadow experience at this time, we invite you to visit our Virtual Admissions page for a video look at our facilities and a virtual tour experience! We are also happy to set up individualized video calls at your convenience to ask questions and “meet” some faculty and/or administrative members of our staff.
