Young Adult Ministry
Looking to grow in your faith while connecting with other young adults/professionals? Discipleship strives to bring together all local Catholics, ages 21 to 35, to share in faith, service, and fun! We host weekly Bible studies and monthly worship, service, and social events.
Join The Immaculate Conception Discipleship Group on Facebook and/or contact Amy at email@example.com to be added to our e-mail list.
You can also subscribe to our Google Calendar to keep up to date with our events.
Weekly Bible Study
Take a break from your busy work week and join us for a time of discussion, prayer, and spiritual growth! Our weekly Bible study sessions are held every Tuesday at 7 PM in the Nelligan Room, located in the Parish Office building (the one with the green roof).
Discipleship’s Worship Nights are held regularly on the second Saturday of every month. Join us on Saturday, September 11th, at 7 PM in the church! The night will start with a short talk, followed by Eucharistic Adoration, benediction, and the opportunity to go to confession. Afterwards, we will gather for fellowship and fun. Please RSVP on our Facebook event page, or at firstname.lastname@example.org. We hope to see you there!
Join us on Sunday, September 19th, at 5:30 PM in the church! If you would like to sit with us, we will be in a pew on the right side towards the back. Please RSVP on our Facebook event page, or at email@example.com. We look forward to worshiping with you!
Social and Service Events
From attending community events such as Orioles games and Relay for Life to serving at places like Our Daily Bread and local pregnancy centers, Discipleship’s social and service events offer a variety of ways to get involved and serve others.
- Saturday, September 25th – Service Event
We will be heading up to First Fruits Farm the last Saturday of September to participate in their Harvest for the Hungry (starting at 9 am)! First Fruits Farm is a non-profit Christian ministry that provides fresh produce to those in need in the Mid-Atlantic region. We’ll be helping to harvest food from their fields, so wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty and closed-toed shoes. You will also need to sign this waiver to participate. They will provide gloves, drinking water, and on-the-job training. Please RSVP on our Facebook event page, or at firstname.lastname@example.org. Can’t wait to see everyone there!!
