The Immaculate Conception Preschool Program is now accepting applications for the 2019-2020 school year. Our Pre-K program is designed to embrace children who are not developmentally ready or age-eligible for Kindergarten. The goal for this five-day full or half-day program is to build upon the skills set forth in the Pre-K 3 program and to further prepare our children for full-day Kindergarten.
Students work on the identification and formation of letters and numbers and are introduced to Spanish. Students in this program also benefit from singing and creative movement as well as art, library, and a field trip. There is a focus on Bible stories and daily prayers. Teacher-directed and self-directed activities are also made available in the areas of language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, physical activity, art and music. Each preschool classroom comes equipped with a SMART Board, iPad, and Apple TV. These tools are used to introduce technology to our students. Students also enjoy the use of our new Makerspace STREAM (science, technology, religion, engineering, art and mathematics) Lab to help young learns think and create in different ways.
