Young Adult Ministry

Looking to grow in your faith while socializing with other young adults? Discipleship strives to bring together all local Catholics, ages 21 to 35, to share in faith, service, and fun! We host weekly Bible studies and monthly worship, service, and social events.

Weekly Bible Study

Our weekly Bible study sessions are held every Wednesday at 7:30 PM in the Nelligan room, located in the Parish Office Building. We hope that you will take a break from your busy work week and join us for a time of discussion, prayer, and spiritual growth. Our current topic is: “Forgiven: The Transforming Power of Confession”. Want to stay up to date with our Bible study wherever you are? Sign up for FORMED, the Catholic Faith On Demand app! Please e-mail to register for the app, or if you have any other questions about our Bible study sessions.

Worship Night

Discipleship’s monthly Worship Nights consist of a guest speaker, adoration with worship music, benediction, and opportunities for confession, all of which take place in the main church. Afterwards, we walk over to a local restaurant in Towson for refreshment and socialization. Our next Worship Night will be held on Saturday, September 23rd, at 7 PM. Please check out the parish calendar or join The Immaculate Conception Discipleship Group on Facebook to stay updated on our Worship Nights. For more information, please e-mail

Praise Mass

Do you feel called to serve during Mass? We’d love for more young adults to partake in the Mass by offering Holy Communion, or serving as a lector, usher, or greeter. You can request to serve every 3rd Sunday of the month during the 5:30 PM Praise Mass with other young adults, and/or choose to be randomly assigned to various masses. If interested, please contact Fr. Francis at to set up a time to be trained.

  • Our next Praise Mass will be held on Sunday, August 20th, at 5:30 PM in the main church. If you have been trained at Immaculate Conception as a Eucharistic Minister, Lector, Usher or Greeter, please sign-up for this Mass! Even if you will not be serving in one of these capacities, we encourage you to attend Mass with the rest of the Discipleship group (we typically sit towards the front on the right side of the middle aisle). Afterwards, we will get dinner together at a local restaurant.
