Rev. Joseph F. Barr

On Sunday, October 3rd, at the 11:30 am Mass, Bishop Denis Madden, installed Father Joe Barr as the pastor of the Church of the Immaculate Conception on behalf of Archbishop O’Brien. The installation took place during the Mass. After the Gospel was proclaimed, Bishop Madden presented Father Joe to us. After he was welcomed, Bishop Madden preached the homily and then introduced Father Joe to the parish clergy and staff, as well as various representatives of our pastoral council, ministries and school. Father Joe lead us in the Profession of Faith and then made an oath of fidelity to Sacred Scripture, to the Holy Father and to the Church.
