Our beloved Pastor, Reverend Monsignor F.  Dennis Tinder.  Msgr. Tinder passed away peacefully on Friday, December 4, 2009. In the past nine of his forty one years of priesthood, Msgr. Tinder served as Pastor of our Church from 2000 until an illness forced him to retire just recently on December 1st.

He truly loved the Immaculate Community; it was a community he grew up in after his family moved from West Virgiina in the 1950's. After he graduated from our Immaculate Conception School, he then studied at St. Charles College, a former minor seminary in Catonsville, for six years before attending Mount St. Mary’s Seminary and University in Emmitsburg.

He loved being a priest and enjoyed serving the many parishioners not only here at Immaculate, but St. Pius X, St. Joseph Fullerton and St. Jane Francis de Chantal. He was a good friend and spiritual advisor to many.

May his soul and the souls of all the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
